I hope that your otosan will get better and healthier. Good luck for you guys since your family is going to have a diet! 
If your going vegetarian, you should try vegetarian chicken satay! It's delicious but I'm not so sure if it's avalible in the US....
If your going for the healthy food, go for a salad! You can mix and match with the ingreadients at your house.
If your going for the sandwitch diet, go to Subways! There are a a couple dozen flavours for you to pick. My current favourites are the one loaded with chicken!

Thank you Sano-kun! I love you too! Its funny how you thought the same thing my brother did....subways and salad. But i want pizza so bad...im freaking out. And im scared of my Tsuna doll now...
