Charecter of the month (shoujo): Kurogane

Kurogane, a rather brash fellow. Just like me! ^^

" I want to be stronger than anyone else. That's why I fight. I don't care who who lives or dies"

Those were his words at the Clow Country Arc: The beginning. I'm guessing it's at the first episode. Forgive me, its been almost a year since I seen Tsubasa. We watched the Tokyo Revelations right, Anya-chan?

Kurogane is my favourite character in Tsubasa, next to Yuuko ( she does make an appearance in this anime, right?) and Faye. He was the son of a the Lord of Suwa, making his full name, Suwa no Kurogane ( which means Kurogane of Suwa) and a Miko ( priestess) of the Suwa reigon.

As a child, he was a really cheerful person ( like many other kids. One extreme case was me. Look at the Childhood is scary post) and he wanted to be just like his father, who was a excellent warrior. The Lord of Suwa would fight off demons that threatened to disrupt the lives of the villagers. The Miko of Suwa would then make Keikai ( barriers) to fend off them from coming back.

When Kurogane grew a little older ( like my age or something like that) his mother became sick.One day, his dad came home injured and his normal Katana ( Samurai Sword) in pieces. Her went on to fight with Giryuu ( the family heirloom and the thing that Kurogane has to give to Yuuko when he, Faye and Syaoran visited Yuuko's shop) and his mother's blessings.

When his mother when to the Inoriba ( Place or Prayer) to pray for the success of fighting off the demons ( which did not happen), she was killed and the Keikai broke, earning the demons' victory.

He was still holding his mother ( who had been impaled by a large sword) when the Empress, Amaterasu arrived. He attempted to attack her ( his mind wasn't quite right after the killing of his mother) but Tsuyukomi ( actually Tomoyo), her sister decided to stop him herself. She stopped him and said " Let's let your mother sleep, shall we?" and that's what managed to get out of the crazed state and he went on crying himself to sleep( actually, it's exhaustion)

He then became a ninja at the Shirasagi castle and found out that it was Fei Wong Reed that killed his mother. Fei wanted to use him as a plaything but Yuuko alternated the thingy with her powers to make him be with Tomoyo instead.

He initially didn't want to help Syaoran at all but he did. He reacts when he sees another Tomoyo at Piffle World ( I guess that this is the one)

He then looses his arm when Fay goes back to his home world. He fights with Fay and Ashura ( Fay's father figure or something like that but he's actually evil), apon learning about Fay's past. When he kills Ashura, Fay's second curse activates and then they get sucked in.

He tried to transport all of them out, but he only can manage Sakura, Syaoran and Mokona. After getting out, Mokona uses his earring to help them out but it's only fit for one person. Kurogane then cuts off his hand as a sacrifice.

Well, that's all for today. I can only give this much of info since I want to sleep. Damn school days are too tiring. I got to the blog late because I had to finish my homework first...
